I've been trying to remember all the cars I've ever owned. I was lucky enough to pass my driving test when I was 17, and bought my first car a few years later (a second-hand Austin A35 van). It changed my life. Sadly, I failed to write a song about it. It's quite a challenge to write about the wheels I've owned, from an Austin, to Fords (Escort, Cortina, Falcon, Fiesta), Peugeots, an Opel or VW. Much easier to brag about a brand new Cadillac....or even a pink Cadillac.
